To use this workflow, set up Bear-Markdown-Export, install Typora, and edit the environment variables of the workflow.Typora is the favorite Markdown editor of many, and it's easy to see why. Since its emerged victorious from beta, however, it does now come with a 15 price tag. The workflow uses a combination of Python and AppleScript to get this done. Typora was our go-to free Markdown application.
It allows to synchronise edited notes back into the Bear database. Under the hood, Typora relies on Markdown, a type of text formatting syntax developed by John Gruber, also known for his writing at Daring Fireball. This becomes useful if notes contain math expressions, which are currently not rendered in wrote a Bear-Markdown-Export script, exporting notes from the Bear database to Markdown.
